At IndED, we provide a comfortable, friendly and enjoyable atmosphere for serious learning. We’re excited to launch our fall microschool program starting in September! This compelling program offers civics, arts and science courses together with field trips, guest speakers and labs to enhance your child’s homeschool program.
The Civics and Community course is every Tuesday from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, and will cover the American Founding, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Community Engagement and Civic (and civil) Discourse through creative and fun experiences! This fall, highlights include The American Revolutionary War, The Judicial System, The Stock Market and more.
Every Wednesday, students can enjoy Yoga and the Arts from 4:00 – 5:30 pm. The afternoon will start with 45 minutes of yoga then students will participate in visits by artists, mini-field trips to local arts-related businesses, open studio time to work on sculpture, painting, drawing and other creative arts.
Thinking Like a Scientist satisfies a child’s natural curiosity. This fall, we’ll delve into Introduction to Medicine: Healers and Researchers, The Microscopic Universe: Bacteria and Viruses, General Anatomy Overview and more! This fascinating course is offered every Thursday from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Stick around after for Homework Happy Hour from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm!
