Thanks again to the good folks at The Thomas Balch Library. This week Laura went through some of the many artifacts donated to the library by the Johnsons. Your child can discover local treasures every Tuesday from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm as part of our Civics and Community course where we often feature presentations from local community leaders.
This winter, our Civics program highlights include The Commonwealth of Virginia’s Government Structure with a visit to Richmond, Basic Economics — Needs and Wants, Money, Supply and Demand, and so much more!
