We’re always looking for new and educational ways to involve our students with the community. Recently, we had two fabulous guest speakers talk to our students about their professions.
Justin Dobson, co-owner of Comfenergy shared the intricacies of building science and how he evaluates a building for potential insulation gaps, or other potential failures of the building envelope that decrease the efficiency of climate control systems.
Jennifer Montgomery of Loudoun Hunger Relief shared her passion for helping those in need. Loudoun Hunger Relief is a non-profit organization that distributes food to local families in need. Jennifer talked to our students about working in the nonprofit sector, and helped our students establish their own food drive!
Thank you to Justin and Jennifer for sharing your knowledge with us! Find out more about homeschool and independent education support here.
