"What It Means to Be a Citizen" Course

TODAY: Service to the Community. Students will be discussing community service and begin planning on a service project.

Course: The IndED Academies What it Means to be a Citizen class is our flagship course. It includes gaining a deeper understanding of the foundation of The United States of America, exploring economics with real-life experiences in building a business, working with local government officials to learn about the legislative process, and developing communiation skills through creating a formal presentation to be shared at the conclusion of the course.

Age Range: 8-11 (approx. 3rd to 5th grade)

Schedule: Classes will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 to 5:30pm. 9 weeks, 18 sessions.

Supplies: All supplies will be provided.
