Storytelling Bootcamp

This four-session workshop will provide students lessons in writing and presenting, all masked by fun, interactive storytelling. We’ll help them come up with a personal story—funny, goofy, meaningful, sad, or even inspiring—and we’ll show them how to make their story matter to an audience by communicating it well.

The course will cover:

  • The Value of Story — elements of a good story; critique
  • Finding Your Story — brainstorming from life
  • Crafting Your Story — teamwork and fine-tuning
  • Telling Your Story — final story-telling time

(We only have FOUR spots available for the program, so please book a spot soon.)

  • Age Range: 8-15 (approx. 3rd to 9th grade)
  • Schedule: Every Thursday from 11am to 12:30pm, from Feb 7 to Feb 28
  • Cost: $100
  • Supplies: Your favorite thing to write with, a red composition notebook, tablet/laptop (optional but recommended)
